On this fine October day, Jud, Colter and Carmelo (my dad) went off to spend the day on Henry's Lake. They left at 5 in the morning. Came home at about 5 at night. When I called to check with them mid-day, the fishing was apparently slow.
But as you can see...this one was worth all that wait, according to my dad. And thanks to our other Dad, Ron, they sure had a good time on his boat catching this fish along with two others.
Sorry, Papa. But it's too late to resuscitate your fish. This lovely cutthroat-rainbow hybrid in his 8+ pound and 24" glory, along with his friends, are making their way to the smoker. Yummy in the tummy!

I'm impressed. I can smell that smoker from 1850 miles away or is that still the wildfire?
