We don't get to make trips to Logan too frequently but it was great to have the kids together to play with each other. We realized how equally infrequent that we take pictures of our kids so we're trying to be better. So here are the cousins (less Denise's Beau and and Chris's Atalie) with Grandma and Lolo. Colter's the handsome but annoying fella. Anni is a cutie as always and there's Chris' and Sarah's kids, Chloe and Nathan.


So they played and played. They hung out in the backyard, the sideyard, the frontyard, and yes – even the tree.


Here's the little Anni girl. Not too happy with mom for taking a picture of her when she's all teary-eyed. She's still a cutie though.


And here they are again. So sometimes, they kind of like each other...most times, not.

Well, we hadn't anticipated another move so soon but here we are again. With falling rental prices, a new business that Pen's working hard to make successful, and tighter loan requirements, the best solution for now is to rent (and given the economy, what a relief to not have that burden of a mortgage) especially in our area where the least expensive home will still cost you more than the rental of a similar (brand new) home.

When June 1st rolls around, we'll be moved into a 2500 s.f. newly-built home with a 2-car garage, 3 bedrooms, 3-1/2 baths, a bonus room and a home office. We'll have space to spread out and even room enough to have guests. If all goes well, we'll hang out here for the next year or more until we're ready to make the leap from renters to buyers.

Anni's excited to have her own bathroom and not have to share with Colter anymore. And with the bonus room above the garage, we're hoping the kid-mess will no longer migrate to the living room downstairs. Pen's excited about the home office and Jud's happy to see an efficient wood-burning fireplace again.

Oh, and yes, we'll still be in Driggs.

It's the second day of May. It's probably spring weather elsewhere but for Jud, it's still perfect weather for one more round on Jackson Lake and it didn't disappoint.


It was certainly a nice morning for a little jigging. Jud and his friend came through with some nice trout for the table...


...including this fat one that came out with one extra accessory–a big hook inside it's belly. Score: Jud 4 Fish 0
